Re: How Goji juice was discovered? By Kevin Ruth on 8/3/2007 1:07 PM
I have heard negative comments about Goji and such for 12+ years.............but on the same token, I have had "oh so many people" thank me profusely for telling them about it, and have continued to order it for those same 12+ years. For every 20 people who have thought I was a snake oil salesman, 1 or 2 have adopted it as a permanent part of their life.

As Gary was saying, most of them reach a point of absolute desperation and don't slow down enough to realize that they have been literally "falling apart" for 20, 30 or even 40+ years or more, and expect that Goji juice will erase and re-build them in a few weeks.

Challenge them in a nice way that rebuilding their body is very similar to re-building an old house, and that it may take some time.

Currently I drink Goji everyday as well does my husband. My bestfriend is pregnant and has horrible morning sickness, have you heard of any studies that Goji helps morning sickness and is it safe to take while pregnant. I would love to share this with her.

I want to inquire about the nutritional content/ingredients in Goji juice, as I am a renal dietitian and some of my patients are asking/buying this juice, but I have no basis to evaluate its nutrition claims on, as nutrition facts for this item do not include things like potassium or phosphorus content. If you could provide to me this information (detailed nutrient breakdown), I would greatly appreciate it. Also, would it be possible to obtain a sample of Goji juice from somewhere, as to evaluate its usefulness in renal nutrition?
Dr Earm Mindell research is behind Himalayan Goji Juice. We understand it is cold pressed using Freelife own patented technique and one of the best quality product available out there. Fresh, vine-ripened Goji berries are specially cold-processed and then carefully sieved to remove stems and seeds. Using a proprietary process and Dr. Mindell's exclusive formulation, the whole fruit puree is then skillfully combined with a synergistic blend of natural ingredients in the Himalayan tradition. Most other companies never pasteurize goji juice and grow the plant without chemicals, and test each Goji berry crop for the highest spectral signature.
